HFLMYB Summer Invitational Tournament

Dear Friends,

We invite you to participate in our 30th annual Summer Invitational Tournament.  

12U Travel / All Star*

  • Games are played on 50/70 fields
  • Limited to 5 teams in each division (5 Travel / 5 All Star)
  • Runs Sunday June 15 through Sunday June 22
  • Registration fee is $750 per team
  • Pool play is round-robin format with 4 games for each team
  • Top 4 teams in each division from round-robin play will advance to a single-elimination playoff round

10U Travel / All Star*

  • Gamed are played on 46/60 fields
  • Limited to 5 teams in each division (5 Travel / 5 All Star)
  • Runs Sunday June 15 through Sunday June 22
  • Registration fee is $725 per team
  • Pool play is round-robin format with 4 games for each team
  • Top 4 teams in each division from round-robin play will advance to a single-elimination playoff round

8U Travel / All Star*

  • Limited to 4 teams in each division (4 Travel / 4 All Star)
  • Runs Sunday June 15 through Sunday June 22
  • Registration fee is $575 per team
  • Machine pitch 
  • Guaranteed number of games will be dependent on number of teams
     

*   “Travel” is generally defined as a team comprised of strong, experienced players that would typically play in the top division of any tournament or travel league.  “All Star” is generally defined as a team comprised of younger, less experienced players that would typically not play in the top division of any tournament of travel league.  If there is any doubt, the tournament committee will have the discretion to place a team in a division based on that team’s record and/or strength of schedule for the current travel season (if available).  Our goal is to create an enjoyable baseball experience for everyone involved.

**  If we experience significant rain with multiple postponements, the playoff round for the 10U and 12U divisions may be changed to a championship game for each division between the top 2 teams from the round-robin play.

HELPFUL TOURNEY INFORMATION

Following are a few helpful tournament related items:

1.  Concessions - We have a full service chow hut at the complex.  We have a variety of grilled sandwiches, all kinds of drinks and many healthy items to nourish your hungry team and family.  NOTE THAT WE DO NOT ACCEPT CASH - we accept  Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Apple Pay!

2. Parking - There is ample parking in the gravel lot near the fields and additional paved parking at St Catherine's Church.  Please don't park in the road, on the grass, or in the neighboring businesses.  We are trying to be good neighbors.

3. Batting Cages - We have 2 large batting cages with 4 stations for your use.  Please be courteous and share.

4 . Dogs - Our complex is dog friendly - we welcome friendly dogs.  

5. Smoking & Alcohol - This is a youth sports complex.  The use of alcohol and tobacco products on the property is absolutely prohibited.
