HFLM Players and Parents,

Honeoye Falls-Lima Mendon Baseball is pleased to let you know that competitive travel baseball will be offered for players above the 12U level again next year.   You are receiving this email because your player is age eligible for one of these teams (sometimes 12 year olds at the 7th grade modified level have elected to play at the 13U level instead of in majors).

In previous years, HFLM has participated in the Monroe County Babe Ruth league with teams at the 13U and 15U level.  This year we may have a 14U Team that plays in the Northcoast league.

The league will be holding a combined tryout for all age groups as follows:

When:

• Saturday, September 7th, noon-2PM
• Sunday, September 8th, 2PM - 4PM
• Players are encouraged to attend both days but only one is mandatory.

Where:

• HFLM Moffitt Field - 90' diamond at the HFLM fields in Mendon - corner of 251 and Route 64.

Depending on interest and coaching availability, we may have 1, 2 or 3 teams.   At this point, we know that Wayne VanNewkirk will be coaching one of these teams.  If you are interested in coaching, please contact me at 585.330.3681.

Please note this is competitive baseball that will play locally and may even travel to tournaments.   It is intended for serious baseball players that have aspirations to play at the high school level.    Cost is typically around $300-$350/year but will be determined at a later date.  There may be additional fees for winter workouts, batting cages, etc..  

FYI - For those interested in playing baseball at a little less competive level, HFLM will be fielding teams to participate in the Little League program at 16U and 14U levels.  Those teams will be formed next spring.
